Rider Safety Month ‘23: Kids on Wheels!

Bring your kids down to Singapore Sports Hub on 6 October this Children's Day for a safe cycling workshop! From 10am to 12pm, they can enjoy an exciting and educational experience of safe riding with the Singapore Cycling Federation.   • Water bottle
  • Comfortable attire with covered shoes is recommended for both adults and children
  • Your own bike (a limited number of bikes will be available for kids aged 9-12, so you are encouraged to bring your own!)

What should I bring?

Do my kids need to bring their own bicycle?

There will be a limited number of bicycles available for kids aged 9 to 12. To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to bring your own bikes. Younger kids should also come with their own bikes.

Do parents need to bring their own bicycle?

There will be a limited number of bicycles available.  To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to bring your own bikes as the number of available bikes is limited. 

What attire should both parents and kids come in?

Please ensure that you arrive in comfortable attire suitable for cycling. We encourage children to bring their own protective gear as well, to ensure their safety throughout the workshop.

What happens in the event of wet weather?

Even in the event of wet weather, the programme will continue as planned since it takes place in a sheltered area. Rest assured that you will not be affected by rain or unfavourable weather conditions. However, it’s good to keep an umbrella on you at all times!
